| 2353: Born at Camp Pendleton, Earth. 2377: Graduates from Starfleet Academy. CHILDHOOD: Lanie was born the only child of Spencer and Jane St. Pierre. Spencer was a career Marine and, after Jane passed away after Lanie's birth, was the only one left to take care of her. Lanie grew up around Marines, following her father around to different bases, and growing up she always thought she would be a Marine. Though she never did become one, they taught her many of the things she knows now. When she was 20, she joined Starfleet instead. EDUCATION: Upon going to the Academy in 2373, she majored in Intelligence but her superiors found her more suited to security. All other information about Lanie's education is difficult to track down, because she moved with her father so often. STARFLEET SERVICE: The USS Terra Nova is Lanie's first assignment. - |

| Lanie
has a hard exterior and doesnt let people get close to her very often. Though
she belives strongly in following the chain of command, her sharp tongue
and hot-headed attitude often get her in trouble. She is highly intelligent
and knows what she wants. Those rare people who she calls friends know that
once you gain her friendship, she is a wonderful ally and a deeper person
than she pretends to be. Her effectiveness at close combat makes her good
at security jobs, but her major at the Academy also equips her for Intelligence.
