| September 26, 2340: Born to parents Jarri and Helene Ragnersson in Canada, Earth. 2361: Eric graduates from Starfleet Academy. CHILDHOOD: Eric was born on September 26, 2340 to parents, Jarri and Helene Ragnersson. He spent his childhood growing up in Edmonton, Canada, on Earth, and enjoying the outdoors and many games of ice hockey with his friends. As a result, he developed quite a competitive nature to his sporting endeavors, and overall, grew up with a rich, supportive childhood. EDUCATION: In 2357, Ragnersson entered Starfleet Academy on his first attempt and made an immediate impact. In his freshman year at the academy Ragnersson became the Academy Champion in wrestling. STARFLEET SERVICE: Graduating in 2361 in the lower 25% of his class and receiving his first assignment on board the space station, Deep Space 6, as a security officer with the rank of Ensign. A tour that had Ragnersson uncovering an assassination plot during a trade summit, hosted by the Federation, between two rival star systems. It was discovered that the Orion Syndicate attempted to assassinate one of the rival trade delegates and then blame it on the other party. A promotion to Lieutenant (junior grade) followed soon after. A tour aboard the U.S.S. Kilimanjaro, a New Orleans class starship, under the command of Captain James Sinclair, saw Ragnersson promoted to a full Lieutenant, moved to the position of Assistant Chief of Security, and a near fatal end to his career. Quick thinking and steady nerves resulted in him saving the lives of his crewmates after a disastrous away mission on Theta VIII. Ragnersson remained with the Kilimanjaro up until the beginning of the Dominion War. He was then temporarily assigned to Starfleet Intelligence. During the Dominion War, Ragnersson participated in and lead "covert operations" behind enemy lines. His last operation with Starfleet Intelligence, before his capture by Dominion forces, required him to lead a team of operatives behind Cardassian lines for a period of three months and perform acts of sabotage and hit and run attacks on supply lines. Eric spent the remainder of the war as a prisoner on the Cardassian homeworld. He was an eyewitness to the horror of the fire bombing of Cardassia Prime by the Dominion, as punishment for their rebellion against the Founders. Upon returning to Earth, Ragnersson discovered the U.S.S. Kilimanjaro was destroyed during the retaking of Deep Space 9. He took an immediate leave of absence from Starfleet to recover from his ordeal on the Cardassian homeworld, spent time with family and friends, and revaluate his career. Following the his return to Earth and learning of the deaths of his friends aboard the Kilimanjaro, Ragnersson was diagnosed with "Survivor's Guilt" and entered a dark period, for two years and very nearly resigned from Starfleet. But, with the help of counselling and the love of his family, he was able to pull himself out of his depression and return to active duty. Upon returning to duty, he was given orders assigning him to Liberty Station. - - |

| A man of principle,
quick to action, and loyal. Although at times he has shown a streak of stubborn
independence that has defied orders. Ragnersson maintains a healthy recreational
life, led by his love for the outdoors. He enjoys playing ice hockey and
will, occasionally, sit down to read a good book. His drink of choice while
on duty and first thing in the morning is coffee, Arabian blend with double

First impressions of Ragnersson is that he could be the poster-boy
for a Starfleet security officer, standing at 6'6", weighting 240lbs, and
with an air of confidence about him. A strict, daily fitness regime maintains
Eric's physical prowess, that includes being able to bench press 300lbs.
His blond hair and icy, blue eyes are a clear give away to his Scandinavian
heritage.
